Does P.A.R.T.Y. Work?
The Research

The P.A.R.T.Y. Program Works!

No other injury-prevention program locally or worldwide has been found to compare with the P.A.R.T.Y. Program in comprehensiveness, longevity, community involvement or impact.

Modeled after and licensed by the original P.A.R.T.Y. Program at Toronto’s Sunnybrook Trauma Centre, it has been shown to be effective in modifying behavior and reducing injury.

Effectiveness of P.A.R.T.Y.

A 10-year study published in The Journal of Trauma and referenced here “shows that P.A.R.T.Y. Program participants had lower incidence of traumatic injuries than a control group of non-P.A.R.T.Y. Program participants of the same age, gender, residential area, and initial year in database, during the 10-year study. The P.A.R.T.Y. Program reduced the incidence of traumatic injuries…among females (…4.9%)… (and)… males (…3.8%).
…This study shows the effectiveness of the P.A.R.T.Y. Program in reducing the incidence of traumatic injuries..., confirms the increased modification of the risk behavior of its participants, (and)… helped its participants to remain free from injury longer than the CONTROL group … Furthermore, the injury severity to those P.A.R.T.Y. Program participants was significantly lower than the CONTROL group.”
